When it is turned on it will be the temperature of the steam which is between 212 and 230 degrees depending on the boiler pressure. When it is off the temperature is whatever the room temperature is. There is nothing in between.
: We have steam heat. My previous house had hot water and one could adjust each radiator individually. I understand that a steam radiator must be full on or off to function properly (avoid hammer, etc.). One radiator in the house is TOO HOT when on and icy when off. What do I adjust/replace to get "just right"?
