: : Hello all love the site, my question is as a beginner at soldering copper I may at times use too much solder, I can see the solder on some joints on the inside of the fitting kinda like pooling indicating I put a lot in, no leaks but are there any complications? I'm not wanting any leaks and think too much can't hurt???? : My motto is better too much then not enough.I usually run the solder around the joint till it drips 1 or 2 times then I stop. Knock on wood,I haven't had a solder leak in quite a long time
