I am remodeling my basement where a floor drain already exists. I would like to move my washing maching but I need to re-route the drain. It must go through the concrete floor and I have to tap into the existing floor drain. Will I need to completely dig out the existing drain in order to add a new pipe? Or, is there a way to cap the existing pipe in the concrete floor w/o removing all of the cement around it? |
