In response to Re: Copper size for bathroom
: I am tapping into 3/4" copper to plumb a new bath. What are guidelines for when I can drop to 1/2" pipe? Is there a length vs. GPM for each size? I am most concerned about shower/bathtub combo as I want adequate pressure. The single sink I am sure would be fine with 5' of 1/2".

: What is standard shower head GPM?

: Thanks!

It is common practice here (NY) to run 3/4" (copper) to the second to last fixture. Use your local code to determine exactly what is required.
