|In response to Re: Relocated bathtub - height required for drain?|
: : I am planning a renovation in a concrete apartment building which, unfortunately, requires the bathtub to be moved such that the tub drain is approximately 6.0 feet from the existing drain location. Given that it is not possible to go into the floor with new plumbing, I suppose I will have to raise the tub for the P trap and required drain line slope to the existing drain/vent location.
: : My questions: By what height would I have to raise the tub for this to work? Also, is there anything else I should know - am I missing anything that would make this a bad idea?
: : Thanks for any help, and happy holidays!
Thanks again for your help.
