Thanx Terry, after looking thru your archive I got the answer about ALTO. I bought one... its finish(ragged bolt holes,big glob of hard goo in tank to bowl hole(plumbing supply guy said it was a great unit) NOT! after a search on your site I got enough bad vibes to not install the Mansfield..so now I need a handicapped height toilet...It is either Toto(good web site) Drake or American Standard "champion" both have 3 inch valve opening...champion had 2 3/8 inch trap(1/4 inch larger than toto) plus champion was $249 vs. drake's $295 so I bought the champion. But thanks for your forum! it was full of tips |
