Reply: It appears your bad luck is in finding a competent plumber, (and maybe a defective part or lemon as well). If the toilets fill valve was defective, it is always advisable to install only OEM replacement parts. If you decide to go with A/S, keep in mind the the Champion is only available in white, handicapped height and elongated. Good Luck. e-plumber

It appears your bad luck is in finding a competent plumber, (and maybe a defective part or lemon as well).
If the toilets fill valve was defective, it is always advisable to install only OEM replacement parts.
