In response to Re: Noise from water pipe
: I have a strange thumping noise emitting from the house when the neighbor runs their washing machine or flushing the toilet. Heres the weird part. Their house is at least 200 feet away.
: We're connected at the meter with one leg going to my house and the other to theirs. The meter's probably 350 feet each way. I have added additional straps to my water pipes everywher hoping to eliminate any vibration that could be bouncing off my floor joists. Do you have any idea's.

Contact the water supplier if you didn't already and ask them to test your water pressure, you may need a pressure regulating valve on the water main, if you have one, it may be defective.
