|In response to Re: water_supply_lines|
Can we come to your house to hear it? That is the only way we could verify that that was the source of the noise. Otherwise call the city and have the check the meter.
: I'm in Northern Virginia on city water. When running water or flushing a toilet, we get a sound similar to a choo-choo train in a distance (best description I can think of) from the water running through the supply lines. We have an interior meter/yoke. My best guess is that the meter (30 years old) is the culprit, being analogous to the old analog style gas pumps that sounded somewhat similar. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks. Greg
