As long as the connection is made after the check valve from the pump, you can make the connection anywhere. : I'm wanting to connect 2 houses to the same well and we've checked and it's providing plenty of water for the 2 homes. We already have a deep well pump large enough to handle the load and we have one 20 gal tank. I was thinking of installing a 36 gal tank under the other house by putting in a T just after the first tank, running the line and installing a gate valve just before the 36 gal tank. Would this be appropriate to do this or what should I do instead. Also, is there anything else I would need to do? Thanks.
