The connection will either leak or not leak right after it is soldered and pressurized.make sure that the line is full of H2O and not just air (by opening a distal valve). If it doesn't leak after watching it for a few hours you may assume that it's secure. Of course anything is possible...it might just decide to leak after you seal up the wall. A certain amount of paranoia is useful. Too much paranoia is paralyzing...
