: Hi. I use my bathtub primarily for baths, not showers, and I would like to install an overflow cover that is 100% occlusive; i.e., a cover that lacks the hole on that bottom that allows the water to enter the overflow drain. I can't seem to find such a cover at my local plumbing store, but I've gotta believe one exists. Could you point me in the right direction?

Reply:
Some overflow covers can be turned upside down so the overflow hole is on top, allowing for a couple/few more inches of water in the bathtub.
Other than that, you can always purchase a cover to seal it tight to the bathtub for a water tight seal.
Good Luck. e-plumber
