It might be wise to have an attorney involved as well as qualified inspectors. Depending on what the inspection comes up with, there may be basis for legal action, and you know that the builder, your insurance company, or any suppliers of materials will try to disclaim responsibility, so you must be prepared with every piece of evidence possible to fight the case.
