One last question(?), and first I should probably state that I'm leaning towards using 1" CPVC as much as possible throughout the house, since it is around the same ID as 3/4" copper. The only thing I'm concerned about is that since the main supply to my house from the meter is 3/4" copper, should I worry at all about a drop in water pressure by using mostly 1" CPVC?

Also, I read somewhere here that someone had a problem in going with the larger pipe with the amount of time that it took for the hot water to flush out the added cold water and going back to smaller diameter pipe on the hot water helped. In theory, it makes sense, but what do you think?

Thanks again
