I haven't actually used one, but according to Consumers Reports, it is the top rated front load washer! Some specific features include: uses about 50% less water than a conventional washer and the spin cycle is at approx 1200rpm so your clothes are almost dry even before putting them in the dryer. The HET is #3 on the list, but spin cycle is 900rpm's.
