Under the sink, behind and underneath, you will see a long cylindrical bar coming down attached to another shorter bar which enters the drain tube, the connection is made with these two bars with a spring clip, remove the spring clip. The short lever bar which is fitted into the drain is held in place by a nut attached to this drain unscrew it and the stopper should lift out...get a towel cause somewater might come out....
