|In response to Re: no water in little-used shower|
: We have a guest bath that hasn't been used in a couple of years. Since we are now having septic problems (that's another story), we need to use that shower while we get the septic problem fixed. (We have two septics much to our suprise!)
: I went to turn the water on, and Nothing! There's a teeny drip coming from behind each of the faucet handles. What could have happened that there's no water coming out and what do we need to do to fix it?
: Desperate for advice! Thank you!
I would be more inclined to believe that the washers are sticking or you have debris in the valve, since you are getting a little bit of water through. Shut the water off and dissassemble the valve. Turn the water on with the stem/cartridge/disk removed to flush. Replace any washer or o-ring that looks or feels bad.
