In at least 95% of the time, it is a separtion between the halves of the pressure balancer. Take the old one out. Normally if the leak is in it, you will find a white deposit on the crack where the two pieces are joined together. You cannot fix a leak by tightening the handle unit.
: Help! The shower head constantly drips when the water is turned off. Its a single handle Kohler unit...on a home built in 1998. A plumber unscrewed the handle unit and claims he tightened inside it, but it still drips. Can anyone here tell me what the problem could be, and how best to fix this dripping shower head?
