|In response to Re: Pressure tank and sweating|
A leak would be obvious if the pipe and fittings are examined closely. Condensation is a possibility, although the water in the tank does not usually get cold enough to condense, because of mixing with the residual water, unless the entire tank gets filled with water before the pump starts.
: Pressure tank has a small puddle under it occassionly when the humidity level goes up, is it possible it is because the fittings on the tank outlet are a galvanized elbow leading to a galvanized union then to p.v.c. pipe or do you think it would be a leaky fitting joint.
