|In response to Re: Moving Kitchen Waste line|
: In a 3 story condo. On the 2nd floor. I want to move a kitchen wall over 3 ft. The wall appears to have a 3in kitchen drain line that is probably common to all condos. I want to move the wall perpindicular to the line. This would result in a 90deg. turn at the ceiling and a 90 deg turn at the floor back the the line. Is this possible and would it be within code?
You may want to check with your homeowners assoc or some other governing group. You are not just making changes to your condo, you are altering plumbing that is not yours (this is probably a code violation). If you do something wrong that affects other units, will your insurance cover it?
