|In response to Re: Leaking copper pipe|
: Is it common for copper pipes to have a pin hole and leaks, just recently repair a pipe with a pin hole that was leaking water from the copper line in the basement , after that was fix another pin hole develope what is wrong with the pipe, does this happen commonly to old copper pipes.
More than likely it wasn't the quality of the tubing. Here's a goggle search for "copper tubing" + pinholes. The problem is huge and worldwide. Get your water tested for pH, Do, CO2 and call in a water treatment guy that has dealt with causes of the problem. There are many causes ranging from electrical to bacteria.
