|In response to Re: Bathtub surround|
If the liner is removable, then I would take it out with the tile still attached. Cedar in a shower area seems like a "dumb" idea, but if that is what he wants it can be fastened to the wall once the liner is removed. Assuming there is a finished wall behind the liner.
: My friend has asked me to refinish the tub surround in at his camp. Currently it is ceramic tile which has been added ON TOP of a liner, (which I believe is fiberglass) He would like that tile removed, and the new surround to be tongue and groove cedar. Can this be done over the liner simply by using fixing batons that have been screwed through it and into the wall? Or does the entire liner need to be taken out? Any advice would be great.
