|In response to Re: Is there a standard height for the copper pipe with toilet shutt off valve?|
: I am remodeling the bathroom and the plumber put the copper pipe that will have the shut off valve only 2" off the cement floor which will be tiled, leaving less space to the shutt off valve. I called the contractor to ask about this and he said he is going to go through the molding with the pipe. I thought this might be a new way of doing the plumbing, but after looking at model homes, none of them were close to the floor. Should I ask him to correct the problem...is there a standard height?
i don't know if there is a standard height, but going that low and coming out the molding is NOT very pro-like. Get him to raise it up a few inches.Hube
