Usually 11 1/4 to 11 1/2" is the minimum. You could measure the actual toilet in a showroom and see the exact minimum to the wall, not the baseboard. : The measurement from the finished wall to the center of the floor bolt for existing toilet is 11 inches. Can I use a Toto Drake or Toto Carusoe with a 12 inch rough-in? In general do 12 inch rough-in toilets fit 11 inch rough-in spaces.
