The board has to be placed over the rim, (down to the tub), to provide the proper leak protection. : I have removed my fiberglass tub and replaced it with a procelain tub. THere is a RIM on the procelain. DO I sheetrock to the rim or to the tub itself prior to putting up backerboard for the tile work?
