|In response to Re: Basement Bathroom|
Put the bathroom and ejector pump anywhere you want it and connect the discharge to the nearest adequate drain line. If you have a properly installed and vented system, the pump will have no effect on the existing system, even if all the existing bathrooms were not on an upper level.
: We live in a split level home and all of our bathrooms are upstairs. We would like to put a bathroom downstairs but one was not roughed out when the house was built. I have researched enough to know that we will need an ejector pump but what we are trying to decide is the best location for the bathroom. Should we put it closest to the septic tank or underneath one of the existing bathrooms. Thanks for your help.
