|In response to Re: remodeling and hating new water heaters|
Hello. Try checking the bottom element. If you are running out of hot water rather quickly it might be the bottom element. If so, change the element.: I could sure use some wisdom/advice. New 40 gallon AO Smith water heater heats just fine but we run out of hot water rather quickly. This heater replaces an older 40 gallon AO Smith which gave great service for many, many years. Is there a way to boost performance or do we have to buy another, larger capacity water heater. Our use remains the same as in years past...I guess 40 gallons is no longer 40 gallons. (another note and I'll mention the nightmare of trying to replace old, weary, wall mounted Case toilets.)
: thanks for suggestions.
