In response to Re: WATER LEAK
: HOW CAN I LOCATE A LEAK BETWEEN MY PROPERTY & MY NEIGHBORS PROPERTY. IT'S JUST COMING OUT ON THE SIDE 10FT AWAY FROM THE WATER METER. I NOTICE IT CO'Z THE SOIL IS ALWAYS WET, I DON'T HAVE ANY SPRINKLER ON THAT SIDE OF THE PROPERTY NEITHER THE NEIGHBOR. CHECK THE METER LEAK DETECTOR DURING DAYTIME BUT THERE'S NO UNUSUAL MOVEMENT. TOOK OUT ONE OF THE POST OF THE FENCE, DUG A HOLE, A FOOT DEEP AND THERE'S WATER, EMPTIED IT IF THERES STILL WATER COMING OUT. FOR THE PAST 12 HOURS THERES ONLY A 16TH OF AN INCH OF WATER. BUT THE NEXT MORNING IT JUST OVERFLOW. CAN U PLS GIVE A HELPING ADVICE OF HOW TO LOCATE WHERE IS IT COMING FROM? APPRECIATE YOUR HELP & THANK IN ADVANCE.

On a 'city' water system the pressure usually increases overnight when most water use is very low. A leak will leak more water when the pressure is the higest.
