|In response to Re: Plumbing upstairs in unfinished areas of modular home|
What if I ran a new drain pipe down the same wall as the existing supply lines and connected it to the drains in the crawl space. Would that work?
THere is no easy way to do it, and you should not do it even if there were. 20' of pipe would require at least 5" of pitch, and your joists are not deep enough to provide that amount.
: : I have a modular home with two unfinished rooms upstairs. The supply lines are already through the floor close to where I plan to put the bathroom. However the drains and vent come up in the wall between the kitchen and dining room and are about 20' from where I want the bath. The floor joists run from front to back and are 2 X 8's. How can I run the drains? The 3 inch vent, 3 inch drain, and 2 inch drain all come up behind a knee wall and to get to them I would have to drill holes in every joist between the bath and the pipes. Is there an easy way to do this?
