: I am going to be pulling my toilet and reinstalling it after tiling the bathroom. I know I need a wax ring for the reinstall but do I need new tubing or connection fittings for the water to the toilet? Or, can I just reuse the existing piping etc. ? You should always install the toilet flange on top of the finished protected floor. Remove the flange when you remove the toilet and tile underneath.LonnythePlumber
