|In response to Re: Undermounted Sinks|
: If the sink is mounted into the cabiner before the top is installed, and no provision is made for accessing mounting clips from below, then the answer is yes it will be very difficult to replace the sink.
: : I am building a new home and I am going with granite countertops...and I want to go with a Stainless Undermounted Sink. What I was wondering is...if something happens to the sink down the road...is it a major pain, or difficult to replace the sink?
You should have no problem replacing an undermount sink. The clips are on the bottom of the granite or man made counter top. Plumbing labor shold be the same as a top mount but the sinks costs twice as much.LonnythePlumber
