Either no air in the tank, or an air pressure above the cut out point on the control will cause the symptoms you have.
: We are on a well system for our house H2O. Recently the people who installed our softener/filtration system added an oxygenator to the input side of our pressure tank & switch to eliminate a "sulfur" smell in the hot water. Now the pump is going on & off every time we run the slightest amount of water. Is it possible too much air is collecting in the holding tank? Is the pressure switch going bad? I don't know if it's coincidence or a result of the oxygenator. Please help if you can. Thanks for the great web site.
