|In response to Re: Smart Valve 2000|
Using a Smart Valve was not a smart thing to do in my opinion. I usually remove them. I never install them. It is turning off too quickly, so the "smart" thing to do would be to remove it now, (otherwise you will do so when it cracks), and put in a different brand of fill valve.
: I had a problem with my toilet running so I replaced the parts with a smart valve 2000. Now the toilet flushes fine and the water quits running but after the tank fills up there is a loud thunk when the water turns off.
: This did not happen before I made the changes. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?
