The caution about soldering galvanized to copper is that it cannot be done, which would seem to be a big problem. As far as the yoke is concerned we cannot tell how it is fastened so we cannot tell you how to remove it. : I will need to replace the tub faucet yoke (seems to be galvanized by the way.) Do you just heat the joints with the tourch and pull it loose with pliers? : Also I read a caution about soldering copper to galvanized pipe. Is there a problem with it?
