: Inspectors do not allow bending copper tubing, so you will have to use fittings and solder.

: : I am awaiting the roughin inspection and I am courious about the next step.
: : I am pretty sure that I was not lucky/skillfull enough to line up my ball valves where my hot an cold inlets are needed for my corner tub faucet and my neo-angle shower faucet.
: : Do "the pros" tend to use pipe benders to get the offsets and angles needed, or am I looking at sweating fittings ?

Certainly we use pipe benders but it's usually on 3/8" supplies. I prefer stainless steel flex connectors on the whirlpool tubs but some plumbers are using PEX. I usually connect my shower valves with hard copper but you can use soft copper or PEX.LonnythePlumber
