In response to Re: Pop-up assembly leaks
: I recently installed a new Crane china bathroom sink and an AquaSource faucet/pop-up assembly (all plastic)according to directions. Drain water is leaking from under the sink where the pop-up gasket is compressed against the bottom of the sink. The hole in the sink isn't perfectly round and the pop-up is a flimsy plastic device. Additional tightening of the pop-up nut makes the leak worse. The directions recommend not to use plumber's puddy at the top sink bowl opening. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We don't install plastic pop=ups because they leak. You need a metal pop-up. You can use putty on china but not man made or real marble. You use silicone in that case.LonnythePlumber
