I have an older house with iron pipes. The washing machine drain overflows, sinks and tubs drain slowly, toilet flush poorly, etc. I've used Draino a couple of times with limited success. My plumber says the pipes are clogged and everything needs to be replaced. I don't have the money and can't do it myself. What else can I do? I've gotten suggestions of snaking the sinks, tubs and toilets, plus using an enzyme based cleaner like Draincare. Will anything work short of replacing all the pipes? Thanks in advance.
