I'm in the middle of a DIY bathroom remodeling project and am planning to move the toilet across the room. The waste pipe from the toilet will have to cross the room to get to the soil stack. I've got to go about 8' and will only be able to get approx. 3/4" to 1" of fall in the pipe do to the location of hole in the soil stack and the ceiling in the room below.
I'm concerned this won't be enough fall to get all the "goods" to the soil stack. A plumber told me to use a pressure assist toilet to solve this problem. Will this work?
Does any one here have any experience with this situation?
