I am putting in a bathroom in a previously finished basement. However, I have a quandry; my electrical service (60 amp fusebox) is on the wall directly above where my proposed bathroom sink is to be located. Can I construct a moisture resistant enclosure to cover the service panel, or do I have to have an electrician move the service to outside of the proposed location? What does code dictate? I've only budegeted my project for the actual bathroom; I've gotten quotes ranging from $1000-$2000 to move and/or upgrade the service. Dave K |
