I have an old bathtub/shower faucet. It has no name on it but is a single mixing unit, left hot and clockwise cold. The water only comes out in a trickle. The cold side comes out a little better than the hot but both are very slow. We have city water but occasionally have to remove hard water deposits from the sink faucet screen. Is this a result of the water hardness? Can I replace the inner part of the faucet without having to unsweat the then resweat the whole fixture? Can I get into trouble or should I take a chance? Thanks for having a site like this for would be home diy guy like me. |
