With a 3 bath home, a 50-gallon water heater is usually sufficient. I recommend Bradford-White.
Homes that are plumbed for storage type water heaters aren't usually "compatible" with the tankless ones. You need 3/4 in. gas stub-out & 4 in. vent minimum for tankless water heaters. Also, you would need a recirculating line to act as "storage" for when demand gets high. Furthermore, here in CA, the water is very hard which tends to block the many tiny orifices the water passes thru, thus a water softener is often needed.
I would opt for Takagi tankless if you have to get one.
