|In response to Re: Ground Current|
It would be an unusual water heater installation that did not already have some type of dielectric connectors on the water lines. I usually put a ground jumper wire between the two pipes where they come out of the wall.
: I live in a four unit condominium. We have measurable high peaks of ground current on the cold water pipe that runs under each unit. The electrician is recommending that we install dielectric couplers on all of the water heaters as he feels that his may be the source of the ground current. Any thoughts? Any idea about how much this would cost for four water heaters?
