: I have a one piece fiberglass tub/shower stall that I would like to remove. Does anyone have any idea how I go about this? Thank you.

As odd as it sounds, I did this on Saturday, 8 Feb. The tub/shower has a lip that runs approx. 2 inches behind the sheetrock. Run a sharp razor knife around the edge a little at a time until you determine how far out it extends, unless you have no concerns about how much sheetrock you have to replace. Remove the faucet fittings, unscrew the drain, and remove all of the nails fastening the tub/shower to the studs. A saws-all works wonders to cut it into manageable pieces but you have to be careful of pipes and electrical wires behind it. You can use some brute force to break some of the fiberglass sides and back, make sure you wear gloves, glasses, and a dust mask.
