There is no way to move the opening that distance, which would be about 8" overall, without opening the floor and relocating the drain opening. Even if there were, it would make such a bad installation that the toilet would constantly plug up and require plunging.
: During new construction, the plumber evidently measure incorrectly and the toliet drain is too close to the wall and too close to the vanity. It needs to be moved about six to seven inches away from the wall and 3-4 inches to the left. They have recommended some sort of brass flange rather than breaking up the slab and moving the drain. I have read that this flange is not the way to go. What do you suggest? The plumber is coming today.
