| In response to Re: hj - toilet clogged with roots - another question | |
|
That is hard to say, although the roots seem to have a sixth sense when it comes to water, and might be able to penetrate it also. : : Not likely since I have had the problem with drains that were cemented into the floor during construction. The roots are very persistent. : : : hj, : : : Do you think that sealing the toilet flange to the concrete floor would prevent the roots from entering the drain? : : : I've been thinking that after I flood the area with root killer and do a good clean-up that sealing the flange to the concrete would work. : : : What do you think? : : : Thanks, : Last question: Do you think the UltraSeal would prevent the roots from getting in? Should be better than the wax seal - I think.
