I had old ceramic floor replaced recently and the new vinyl floor sits way below where the other floor (~1.5 inches). So the toilet flange is in the air. I cut orr the flange above the floor thinking that I could cut out the rest of the pipe from the the inside of the elbow and find a new flange to fit inside of the elbow that would sit nicely at floor level. (The elbow is flush with the new floor) Any thoughts about how to deal with this disaster?
