yeah, I'm the same way 'bout shutoffs..They're stiff but open wide...these two runs have recirculating loopbacks to minimize time to full hot at the taps, so perhaps the drop in overall system pressure was enough, given the extra volume from the loops, to affect them the most....s'why I prefer to stick to electrical and carpentry work..."issues" are more obvious... And usually involve sparks or crashing sounds !!!
