I'm installing a Kohler bathroom pedistal sink and having problems. If I follow the directions and pin the pedistal first there is no room to work (tighten) on the plumbing.
I finally loose fitted the pedistal and sink with the tailpiece tight and everything tight on the other end and slip them together (pedistal spun around on the bolt) and tighten. If I test it now it runs dry. BUT once I spin the pedistal back around and tighten down the hanger bolts and pin the tailpipe leaks (POURING leak) at the top of the tailpipe.
I then can't get in there with any tools to try & retighten. HELP! This is making me crazy. I've taken it apart and put it back together several times, always with the same results. What am I missing?
