I am currently building a bathroom in my basement. I have ordered a one piece fibreglas shower. Now I'm worried that I may not be able to get the drain in place with the ceiling height I have.
How is the drain actually attached to the shower? Does it have to a threaded nut underneath similar to a sink drain? I was hopeful that I could set the shower over the exisitng drain pipe and then cement the drain to the and caulk the drain to the shower with silicone. Is this an option. I have searched the web for a installation diagram with no success. Any leads?
