|In response to Re: Etura solid surface countertop trouble|
I had Etura installed in October 2001. I am mostly satisfied with the product so far. However, there is a small oval spot in the bottom of my sink that looks like it was a hole from the manufacturing process that was filled. It looks like they didn't clean the hole before filling it and now shows a "dirty" outline of the oval that will not come out. I understand that Etura went out of business and I don't know where to go now for warranty if there is any. I am disappointed because it was sold to me with a "lifetime - transferrable" warranty. I too wish I would have spent the extra for a reputable name brand
: We had an Etura solid surface countertop installed late in January 2002. It was "sold" to us as being as good as Corian. Now it has a 10-inch long crack all the way through the surface and we are not sure how it cracked. Our only guess is that the heat from a laptop computer might have caused it.
: I guess we should've paid the extra $$$ for the Corian name!
: Anyone else have any experience with Etura? Good or bad?
